Solution

When the error occurs, you receive the message:

"System error 5 has occurred Access denied "

  1. Ensure that you have entered the right username and password when you logged in your computer. If you are not the administrator of the computer, contact your system administrator.
  2. Click on start menu and then type in regedit in the run box:
    reggite
    reggite
  3. In the Registry Editor window, navigate the following registry key in sequence:
    HKEY->LOCAL->MACHINE->SOFTWARE->Microsoft->Windows->CurrentVersion->Policies->System
  4. If the LocalAccountTokenFilterPolicy entry is not in the  registry key, click Edit , click  New, and then select the DWORD Value command.

  5. Type LocalAccountTokenFilterPolicy and then click OK.
  6. Next, right-click on the LocalAccountTokenFilterPolicy key you just added and then select Modify.
  7. Type 1 in the Value data box, and then click OK.

  8. Exit the Registry Editor window and reboot your computer.
