I use windows 7 system for a few days, and when I want to go into hibernate on my computer, I encounter the error: "STOP 0×000000A0 INTERNAL_POWER_ERROR (0×0000000B, 0x????????, 0x????????, 0x????????)". I am not sure what happens, so I want to fix windows 7 hibernation error. I hope someone can help me.

Solution

This issue is caused when the size of the Hibernation file is not large enough for the current memory contents can be loaded on the system.

  1. Click "Start" button, and click "All Programs", then click "Accessories".
  2. Right click "Command Prompt", and choose "Run as administrator".

  3. Type the following command:

    powercfg /hibernate /size 100
    .
    Type the following command: powercfg /hibernate /size 100.
  4. Press Enter and then the windows 7 hibernation error will be fixed.
