When using eMule to download, many users search some files at first, but return with little or no result. Is there anything we can do to increase the searching result?

Solution

Go to the Servers tab and you will see a drop down box near the top right. Click one of the listed servers to download a new server list.
Avoid getting low ID. Go to Options>Connection.
Check "Download limit"and "Upload Limit".
Now go forward the ports you entered into the TCP and UDP port boxes. You should specify the TCP protocol for the port you entered into the TCP box. The UDP protocol should be specified for the port you entered into the UDP box.
Open both of these ports in any software or hardware firewall you have running.
Click "Test Ports" to see if you properly opened those ports.
Click "Apply" then "OK".
