When a formula refers back to its own cell, either directly or indirectly, it creates a circular reference.
Open your Excel document which tells you there are circular references.
Go to "Formulas" > "Formula Auditing" tab in the ribbon.
Then under "Formula Auditing" menu, choose "Error Checking" > "Circular References" > "SAS2".

If the "status bar" also displays "Circular References", please repeat step 4 &5 to check more cells.
