How to Use Aero Snap in Windows 7

Windows 7 provides a new feature called 'Aero Snap'. Aero Snap lets users drag a window on top of the screen to maximize it automatically. Also makes users drag a window to the left or right side of the screen to resize it automatically.

Solution

By using 'Aero Snap', users can simple drag a window to a side of the desktop to snap it or drag it to the top to maximize. When drag it back to the last position, the last window size will be restored.

Drag the windows to left

Drag a window to the side of the desktop to expand it to half of the screen

And AeroSnap also works with multiple monitors.



Tips

Windows + left/right arrow = Snap left/right Windows + up arrow = Snap top (maximize current window)
