How to Use the warp tool in adobe Illustrator

Warp Tool is a very useful tool in Illustrator. If you are a Photoshop user, warp tool is just like liquify tool. It lets you bend paths around to create your new object. Here are some instructions about how to use it, please follow my steps.

Solution

  1. Create a new file by click File> New.

  2. Draw a big ellipse by using Ellipse Tool  ellipse tool from the toolbar, fill it with black.

  3. Select Warp Tool from the toolbar on the left.

  4. Double click on the Warp Tool button to open the dialog box.
    Width and Height determine the size of the brush.
    Adjust the Angle to 45 and Intensity to 60.
    Click OK to continue.

  5. Drag the brush from the edge to centre to warp the ellipse.

  6. Press Alt+Shift and drag the mouse pointer at the same time to change the size of the brush conveniently.

  7. Continue wraping, and we change the ellipse to a slim body.
